Here’s a nifty blast from the past. While checking out a thrift store yesterday, I ran across this little gem: “Lassie, Adventure in Alaska.” Published in 1967 by the Western Publishing Company, it is one of the famous Whitman “Big Little Books.”
It originally sold for .39 cents. I picked it up for .50 cents. It’s not a real valuable collectible. From what I can tell, it’s worth about $5 these days. What makes it special to me are the memories it brings back.
Ah, the good old days!
